#CANT FIND LOGITECH CONTROL CENTER MAC PRO#
I use it for my surface pro and work desktop. It's super easy to use and works on every type of surface. Reviewed in the United States on 5 October 2018 Not my first choice, but some will find it fits their needs.īluetooth or unifying receiver connectivity possible It's not the most comfortable mouse to use and the scroll wheel is noisy with a rough feel. IF the build quality was more substantial and less 'cheap plastic' I would be happier as I think the basics are good and it did work on both platforms.

Both are given as options when setting up this mouse. NOTE: I did use it via the Logitech unifying receiver and I may switch and go to Bluetooth to see if that eases my pain when using this mouse on a more consistent basis. It took longer for the Windows PC to recognize the mouse when switching over from Mac too.

The biggest reason I'm disappointed in this mouse is that when using it on my Windows 10 PC it seemed to be a hit and miss in terms of accuracy.

The M325 is cheaper with smooth scrolling, and it feels more substantial too. It's handy if you have two computers on your desk, but there are other better choices if you don't need a cross-computer workflow. The value of this mouse is in its ability to work across platforms. The M585 hits at the mid-range price wise, but is definitely low-end in terms of smoothness of scrolling and feel in the hand. I own probably 10 Logitech mice which range in price and features. The FLOW software installed easily on both the Mac and PC and worked OK for transferring files, although I only tried it a couple of times to see that it worked.Īs for the mouse itself, I was disappointed in the cheap build quality. Bluetooth connectivity worked better in terms of the devices being recognized more quickly when switching from one to the other, but there was more lag (when typing for example) although it was less pronounced with the mouse. What I found was that while both devices (mouse and keyboard) worked with both computers when paired with a unifying receiver, they didn't work very well with the Windows 10 PC. I also paired the computers with a Logitech keyboard that works with FLOW - the Logitech software that works across platforms. I followed the directions to pair the mouse with both computers, which went fairly easily.

I was excited to get the Logitech Wireless M585 mouse to pair with both my Mac Mini running Mojave OS and a Windows 10 PC.
